What this service is

ADHD Compass administers a published self-report screening questionnaire and returns an educational summary of what your answers showed. It is a preliminary screening summary and an educational profile. It is not an assessment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

No result from this site can establish whether you have any condition. Only a qualified clinician can do that, after a history and a conversation about your life. A result above the questionnaire's threshold is a reason to have that conversation; a result below it does not rule anything out.

Do not use this instead of care

Nothing on this site should be used to make a decision about your health on its own, to delay seeking help, or to decide anything about medication. If you are in crisis, contact 988 in the United States, or your local emergency number.

Who may use it

The questionnaire is validated for adults and is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not designed for children, and a result from it would not mean anything for one.

What you are paying for

The paid report is a written interpretation of the answers you already gave, delivered as a page you can read immediately. It is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.

It is described in full before you pay, deliberately and in detail, because a report that is oversold is one people ask for their money back for — and rightly.

Refunds

If the report is not what was described, write to us and we will refund it. When we do, your access to the report ends and the answers behind it are deleted; the record of the transaction is kept, because the law requires it.

Accuracy, and its limits

The scoring rules, thresholds, and the research behind them are published in full on our methodology page so you can check them. What we cannot promise is that a screening questionnaire is right about you: it is a short self-report instrument answered on one day, and its published performance figures describe the samples it was studied in rather than you.

Liability

This service is provided as it is, without warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any decision made on the basis of a result from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change never applies retroactively to a report you have already bought — the version of the wording you paid for is stored with your purchase, and that is the one you keep.
